Number Eight: His Role in The Hangover Opened Doors for Him. Though he has been acting professionally since 1999, his big break was in the irreverent comedy The Hangover. The movie’s popularity put Cooper on the A-list.
Number Seven: His First Film was Wet Hot American Summer. Bradley Cooper played the role of Ben in the cult classic, directed by David Wain (The State). When the film came out in 2001, he had to miss his New School commencement to attend the premiere. In 2015, he reprised his role for the Netflix prequel miniseries.
Number Six: His Best On-Screen Kiss Was with Michael Ian Black. Cooper once told Kelly Ripa on her show that his best on-screen kiss was with Michael Ian Black’s character in Wet Hot American Summer.
Number Five: He Has Been Getting into Production. Since 2011, Bradley Cooper has had an executive producer role on a number of his films, including Limitless, Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle and American Sniper. He is also executive producing the Limitless television series based on his 2011 movie.
Number Four: He is in Talks to Direct a Movie. Rumors have been circulating as late as March 2015 that Cooper will be directing a remake of the classic film A Star is Born. His name has also been attached to a film called Honeymoon with Harry. If either of these films happen, it would be his directorial debut.
Number Three: He Changes His Body for Roles. For a number of his movies, Bradley Cooper undergone serious diet changes that impact his body. When prepping for his role in The A-Team, he stopped eating salt, sugar, and flour, as well as started working out two hours per day. For American Sniper, he did two weight-training sessions a day while consuming a seemingly unhealthy 6,000 calories per day.
Number Two: He Worked with LEAP. Before becoming a huge star, he did what he could to help children. Over his weekends in New York City, he taught inner city kids acting and movement as part of LEAP, Learning through the Expanded Arts Program.
Number One: He is Well Travelled. As an actor starting out, Bradley Cooper was one of many hosts for a Travel Channel show called Globe Trekkers.
