Pop diva Britney Spears is making her way to Miami for a guest role on the CW show “Jane The Virgin”. The 33-year-old mom of two took to Twitter to make her excited announcement about her new role on the hilariously funny show. “See u at the Marbella Hotel soon,” she tweets. “Guest starring on one of my favorite shows EVER,” tagging the stars of the show Gina Rodriguez and Jaime Camil. Spears says this is a dream come true for her.

Rodriguez, who plays the titular character Jane, shared her joy of having the pop icon become a part of the “Jane The Virgin” family. “Literally fell out of my chair,” Rodriguez said, tagging Spears in her post. “I can not wait to work with you beauty! I’m covered in goosebumps. This is unreal!!!” A fan asked Rodriguez how excited she was on a scale of 1-10, and the Golden Globe winner replied “1,000,000. Boom.” If I were Rodriguez, I would have had the exact same reaction. Spears has had a tremendous influence on pop culture, and millennials have grown up with her throughout her career. My very first concert was actually her “Femme Fatale Tour” with Nicki Minaj back in 2011.

Camil, who plays Jane’s vain (but funny) father Rogelio, tweeted his welcome to Spears. “It’ll be a great honor to have you on the show! #Dream Come True for us,” he tweets. I’m sure Spears is feeling the love from the cast and can’t wait to get to work. There is no word yet on if Britney Spears will play herself or a new character in the show.

“Jane The Virgin” follows Jane and her family as she navigates through life with an unexpected pregnancy, struggles with love, murder, and her career. Jane accidentally gets artificially inseminated with the sperm of a past crush, and her life only gets more complicated from there. She breaks up with her fiancé, reconnects with her long lost father, and almost loses her virginity.

The first season concluded in May with a huge cliffhanger. The second season is set to premiere in October on the CW. Will you tune in to see Britney Spears?
