Singer and rapper Bryson Tiller has been rising to the top since he debuted his album in October of this year. Though he has not been in the spotlight for very long, a lot of his life has been made public since then. However, there are still some things that many people don’t know about him. Number Fifteen: He Earned His Spot on the Map With His Single, “Don’t.” Tiller’s single is about a guy who is trying to treat his “woman” better. What many people don’t know is that the guy Tiller refers to in the song is actually himself. Tiller says that his inspiration for the song was for “women out there to know their worth and to never settle for less than what they feel like they deserve.”
Number Fourteen: He Was Cosigned by Drake and Timbaland. Drake was turned toward Tiller after hearing “Don’t.” He reached out to Tiller on Twitter, and Tiller has since posted a picture of himself next to Drake, securing the rumors that the two are tight. Timbaland also posted a picture of Tiller online, calling him “the truth.”
Number Thirteen: He Has Been Involved With Music Since He Was 17 Years Old. Tiller released his first mixtape when he was 17 years old. He admits that he continues to grow, and he actually says that that is one of his strong points as a budding artist. Before pursuing music on a full-time scale, Tiller worked at UPS and Papa John’s.
Number Twelve: He Is a Dad. Tiller might be young, but he’s also a father. His daughter is two years old, and her name is Harley.
Number Eleven: He Is Greatly Influenced by Omarion. Tiller has said that his biggest influence is Omarion. Specifically, he was most influenced by Omarion’s album, O.
Number Ten: He Incorporates Omarion and Drake on One of His Tracks. On Tiller’s track, titled “Just An Interlude,” he references Omarion’s “Bria’s Interlude,” which can be found on Drake’s So Far Gone mixtape.
Number Nine: He Opted Not to Sign With Drake. Drake offered Tiller the chance to sign with his OVO Sound record label; however, Tiller chose to sign with RCA Records instead.
