Cameron Diaz has one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood. The blonde bombshell may have been around the block a few times, but she shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. However, despite the fact that Diaz has spent a considerable amount of time in the spotlight and under the scrutiny of the public eye, there are still some things that many people don’t know. With that in mind, here we present our list of 15 things you probably didn’t know about Cameron Diaz. Check out part one below, and stay tuned for part two, coming soon!
Number Fifteen: She Went to High School With Snoop Dogg. And she even bought weed from him! The two went to Long Beach Poly High School together, and Snoop was one year above Diaz. Though there were 3,500 students there, Diaz insists she remembers him.
Number Fourteen: She Is Anti-Botox. Diaz admitted that she tried Botox once but didn’t like it. She said, “it changed my face in such a weird way that I would rather see myself.” After seeing how many celebrity plastic surgeries have gone wrong, we can’t blame her.
Number Thirteen: She Has ADD. Diaz has said she has no interest in directing or producing movies because her ADD would prevent her from focusing for long periods of time. Diaz loves the role she plays in the film industry because it allows her to express herself without having to be uncomfortable for long periods of time.
Number Twelve: She Is Not Interested in Social Media. Though Diaz has been very present in the media, she does not actually partake in social media herself. In fact, she doesn’t even see the point. She told Good Morning America, “It’s not my instinct to share what I’m doing. Isn’t that weird?”
Number Eleven: She Practices Transcendental Meditation. Rather than practice regular meditation, Diaz practices transcendental meditation, or TM, because a friend recommended it to her. Once she learned it, she knew it was perfect for her – she even said it was “the easiest thing I have ever learned.”
Number Ten: She Grew Up Camping. Rather than take lavish family vacations, Diaz and her family would go camping every year instead. She grew up hiking and fishing with her family rather than lounging on a tropical beach.
Number Nine: She Was on the Drill Team. It’s true! In high school, Diaz performed during halftime of the football games as part of her drill team.
