We already brought you part one of our list of 15 things you probably did not know about Chris Brown, and now we’re back with part two! Check out eight more fascinating facts about the singer and musician that you definitely (probably) did not know below. You might be surprised by what you find out!
Number Eight: He Can Get Into Fashion. Brown has said that his favorite clothing line is Bathing Ape, or BAPE. He has been photographed wearing many different pieces of the clothing line.
Number Seven: He Gets His Electrolytes. Brown has said that his favorite thing to drink is Powerade or Gatorade. And who can blame him? He probably loses a lot of energy while performing, so it’s smart to replace all of those lost electrolytes.
Number Six: He Had Five Consecutive Number One Albums. Brown’s release of X was his fifth consecutive number one album on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart. If you were doubting his musical prowess, this statistic should set you straight.
Number Five: He Is Into Shoes. Brown is so into shoes, in fact, that he has said that he owns more than 500 pairs of sneakers. He better have a big closet!
Number Four: He Is a Talented Director. In yet another collaboration with Nicki Minaj, Brown directed his own music video for “Love More.” Both the song and the video feature Nicki Minaj.
Number Three: Not Everything About His Relationship With Rihanna Is Bad. Though the personal relationship between Brown and Rihanna has been rocky – to say the very least – their business relationship has been pretty solid. Brown actually co-wrote Rihanna’s hit song, “Disturbia.”
Number Two: He Has a Strange Insecurity. Brown has stated that he is a little insecure about his height. However, it’s not why you think! Brown is 6’1″, which is well above the average height of American men. Rather than be insecure about being too short, he is insecure about being too tall to dance well.
Number One: He Was Offered a Record Contract When He Was 15. When Brown was just 15 years old, he auditioned for L.A. Reid. He must have really impressed him, because Reid offered Brown a contract immediately.
