Cindy Crawford: 15 Things You Didn’t Know (Part 2)

We already brought you part one of our list of 15 things you probably did not know about Cindy Crawford, and now we’re back with part two! Check out eight more fascinating facts about the iconic model and public figure that you definitely (probably) did not know below. You might be surprised by what you find out!

Number Eight: She Never Wanted to Do a Coffee Table Book. Crawford released her book, titled Becoming, toward the end of 2015. The book features images of her throughout her career accompanied by essays. In a discussion about the type of book she wanted to do, Crawford revealed that she knew she never wanted to do a coffee table book or a super revealing autobiography – the book she made is somewhere in between.

Number Seven: Her Ultimate Supermodel Career Moment Was With Versace. Crawford has said that her ultimate career moment as a supermodel was walking down the runway at a Versace show with Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista, and Naomi Campbell while George Michael’s “Freedom! ’90” was playing on the speakers.

Number Six: She Tries Not to Give Advice. In fact, Crawford says she doesn’t give advice unless someone asks for it. She learned this from her mother, who gave her the information as advice.

Number Five: She Doesn’t Care About Trends. Crawford lives in Malibu, and she has admitted that even though she loves fashion, she usually just wears jeans and a cute top when she goes out.

Number Four: She Has Been Working Out the Same Way for 20 Years. Crawford says that her fitness routine involves working out at home three times a week with her trainer. This is not too much of a departure from her routine 20 years ago when she made her fitness videos.

Number Three: She Has Been Using the Same Skincare Line for 15 Years. For Crawford, beauty is more about self-confidence and passion than looks itself. Crawford has been using the skincare line she developed with Dr. Sebagh called Meaningful Beauty for the past 15 years.

Number Two: She Advises Her Daughter on Modeling. Crawford’s daughter Kaia has done some modeling, and Crawford has always told her to treat modeling for what it is – a job.

Number One: She Really Doesn’t Know Why She’s Been Successful. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Crawford revealed that she doesn’t have one exact secret to success. Her best guess was that it’s “partly because I let my image and career evolve along with where I am in my life.” Well, whatever it is, it sure is working.
