The dates for D’Angelo‘s Secon
The R&B singer’s Black Messiah album was released last year. The project entered the Billboard 200 chart at Number 5, and it peaked at Number 1 on the US Top Tastemaker and the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It also impacted the music charts in the UK, France, Canada, Australia, Denmark, Switzerland, and New Zealand. His other studio albums include Brown Sugar (1995) and Voodoo (2000). His debut album Brown Sugar featured the singles “Brown Sugar,” “Cruisin’,” “Lady,” and “Me and Those Dreamin’ Eyes of Mine.” “Brown Sugar” reached Number 5 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, Number 24 on the UK Singles, and Number 27 on the Billboard Hot 100.
His sophomore projected entitled Voodoo featured production from Raphael Saadiq and DJ Premier. Voodoo peaked at Number 1 on the Billboard 200, after it sold over 300,000 copies in its debut week. “Devil’s Pie,” “Left & Right,” “Untitled (How Does It Feel),” “Send It On,” and “Feel Like Makin’ Love” were all released as singles. Even with his fourteen-year solo album hiatus, D’Angelo still made his presence on a few studio albums. In 2006, he made a guest appearance on Snoop Dogg’s Tha Blue Carpet Treatment. The R&B singer also appeared on Common‘s Finding Forever project and Q-Tip‘s The Renaissance.
