Disclosure Premieres ‘Holding On’ Music Video

Disclosure has premiered the music video for their “Holding On” (featuring Gregory Porter) single. The video was filmed in Mexico City, and it was directed by Ryan Hope. The cinematic, science fiction video is a six-minute short film, and it is part of a series of four music videos (all of which will be released in the next few months). The first installment of the “Holding On” series features flying vehicles in a futuristic setting. “Holding On” is the lead single from Disclosure’s Caracal project, which will be dropped on September 25th. The single is currently Number 9 on the UK Dance chart, and it’s also Number 9 on Belgium’s Ultratip Wallonia chart. “Holding On” has also reached the singles chart in Australia (Number 77), France (Number 50), and the Netherlands (Number 69).

The upcoming Caracal album will feature collaborations from Lion Babe, Nao, Kwabs, and more. The duo revealed last month that Sam Smith will also be featured on the Caracal project. The Grammy-winning singer and Disclosure first collaborated on the song “Latch.” The single was featured on Disclosure’s Settle (2013) album, and it sold over one million copies in the US. It was also placed on Smith’s In the Lonely Hour (Deluxe edition). Besides “Latch,” the other singles released from Settle were “White Noise,” “You & Me,” “F for You,” “Help Me Lose My Mind,” and “Voices.”
