Drake Gets Unusual Gift From Donnie Wahlberg

Drake posted a video of his “Ted” teddy bear on social media. The caption under the video read, “Best gift from the DON Wahlberg.” Donnie Wahlberg is the former member of the boy band New Kids on the Block. He’s also an actor who starred in the movie Blue Bloods in 2010. After Drake posted the video, some people were wondering why Donnie sent the gift considering his brother, Mark, was actually the one who starred in the movie Ted. Others speculated that Drake was going to be in the sequel to Ted. Ted 2 is set to be released on June 26th.

Seth MacFarlane created, produced, directed, and wrote the screenplay for the film Ted. Ironically, MacFarlane and Drake has had some “interactions” in the past. Although there isn’t any information to suggest the two have met in person, MacFarlane has publicly made comments about Drake. During a press run to promote his film Ted, MacFarlane was asked about the 2012 alleged physical altercation between Chris Brown and Drake. “I’m sure there are better ways for them to settle their differences…maybe a race around the world in a hot air ballon,” said MacFarlane. That same year, the American Dad creator posted a message on Twitter in regards to the allegations that Drake “stole” Rihanna from Chris Brown. MacFarlane posted, “Drake didn’t steal Rihanna from Chris Brown, he just sampled her.” Drake is well-known for sampling a lot of artists and producers.

Seth MacFarlane is no stranger to making fun of celebrities. On the other hand, some would consider Drake a funny guy who also enjoys poking fun at celebrities. Last year, Drake hosted Saturday Night Live, and received a lot of praise for his performance on the show. During his time on Saturday Night Live, his most talked about performances were his skits impersonating celebrities. Drake impersonated the New York Yankees’ Alex Rodriguez, comedian Katt Williams, boxer Manny Pacquiao, and his Cash Money Records labelmate, Lil Wayne. Drake may or may not be starring in this year’s Ted sequel, and so Drake fans will have to wait and see what happens. In the end, all of this speculation started from one gift, one video, and one small teddy bear named “Ted.”
