Enrique Iglesias: 15 Things You Didn’t Know (Part 2)

We already brought you part one of our list of 15 things you probably did not know about Enrique Iglesias, and now we’re back with part two! Check out eight more fascinating facts about the singer and musician that you definitely (probably) did not know below. You might be surprised by what you find out!

Number Eight: He Wants to Be a Producer When He Retires. Iglesias must have an energizer bunny inside him, because he’s said that when he decides to retire, he wants to continue writing and producing songs for other artists. Clearly, the man has talent.

Number Seven: He Helped Jennifer Lopez Get to Number One. Iglesias co-wrote a song for Jennifer Lopez called “Dance Again,” and the song was such a hit that it achieved number one status on Billboard‘s Hot Dance Club Songs!

Number Six: He Co-Produced a Musical. Is there anything this guy can’t do? In 2000, Iglesias co-produced a musical titled Four Guys Named Jose and Una Mujer Named Maria. The musical was Off-Broadway and centered around four Americans with Latin heritage who are also interested in music.

Number Five: You Can Find Him on the Big Screen. Iglesias has had several acting roles in addition to his singing roles. He played the part of Lorenzo in the film Once Upon a Time in Mexico, and he was also featured in an episode of Two and a Half Men in 2007.

Number Four: He Has His Own Fragrance. In 2014, Iglesias released a fragrance called Adrenaline by Enrique Iglesias. Now you can smell like him while you listen to him!

Number Three: He’s Very Generous. In 2013, Iglesias encouraged his fans to donate to the American Red Cross in an effort to aid victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. He has also been associated with the charities City of Hope, Habitat For Humanity, Live Earth, and Music for Relief, among others.

Number Two: He’s Won More Than 200 Awards. It’s true! Iglesias has had a long, illustrious career and has won many awards, including 23 Billboard Music Awards, seven American Music Awards, and one Grammy.
