Fergie may have started out as part of the Black Eyed Peas, but she has become a notable solo artist in her own right. Fergie may be 40 years old, but she shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon. However, despite the fact that Fergie has spent a considerable amount of time in the spotlight and under the scrutiny of the public eye, there are still some things that many people don’t know. Number Fifteen: She Was Part of a Children’s Show. Before she was part of The Black Eyed Peas, Fergie belonged to the children’s television show called Kids Incorporated. She was the longest-running member on the show, and she starred in six of the show’s nine seasons.
Number Fourteen: She Was a Wild Orchid. Fergie was also a member of a girl group called Wild Orchid before she joined the Black Eyed Peas. She left the group in 2001, and the following year, she joined The Black Eyed Peas.
Number Thirteen: She Has a Fragrance. After achieving success with The Black Eyed Peas, Fergie decided she also wanted to make a fragrance. She teamed up with Avon to create the fragrance, which is called Outspoken. The fragrance was released in 2010, and she has since released three more fragrances.
Number Twelve: She Was Raised Roman Catholic. In fact, Fergie’s parents were both Roman Catholic school teachers! They raised her to be Roman Catholic.
Number Eleven: She Was a Cheerleader. Fergie was a picture perfect high school student. She was a cheerleader, straight-A student, spelling bee champion, and a Girl Scout.
Number Ten: She Went Through a Rebellious Phase. Fergie has admitted that when she turned 18, she began experimenting with sex and drugs. She implied that she has been quite promiscuous and said that she has had several lesbian experiences.
Number Nine: Her First Song With The Black Eyed Peas Was “Shut Up.” Will.i.am had invited Fergie to audition for their song called “Shut Up,” and when she sang it, she got the part immediately.
