Each year, The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute hosts a fundraising gala under a different theme. The Met Gala, more formally known as the Costume Institute Gala has been has been raising money every year since 1971. The creative theme for this year, 2015, is China: Through the Looking Glass. This year Beyonce wore a beautiful, sheer yet glamorous dress, which has been trending on social media since she stepped on the red carpet. Continuing the sheer trend, J-Lo rocked a sheer gown that showed off her nice curves. Rihanna wore an over the top, fur-trimmed gown that made he look like the Queen that she is. Katy Perry wore an edgy, punk dress that made graffiti look like more of an art form rather than a form of vandalism. Dressing accordingly to the theme of the benefit, Lady Gaga wore a Kimono-style dress with an extremely bold set of eyebrows. These ladies have great musical talent as well as a great sense of fashion. Check out their red carpet looks below.
