As you might have heard, Austin City Limits, every music lover’s favorite October festival, recently announced its lineup for 2015 and there are some real gems on the list. Of course, any reason to visit Austin is a good reason, whether it be for South by Southwest in March, or simply to go swimming in the beautiful Barton Springs. But ACL is hands down your best opportunity to hear a lot of really phenomenal music in a chilled out, end-of-summer atmosphere. The vibe at ACL remains so great every year because the festival has managed to avoid corporatization. That means that you can still enjoy your cheap beer, ride your bicycle, and check out the local hippie babes, all while rocking out to some of the most talented music acts in the world today. I am particularly excited to see Chance the Rapper, Bassnectar, Tame Impala, The Decemberists, and Father John Misty share a stage. The festival takes place in the first two weeks of October. Will you be there?

Pretty much the only reason I want to go to #ACL is for the next hash tags coming up in my favorite order. #altj #misterwives #milogreene #drake #florenceandthemachine #theweeknd It’s too good to be true. A photo posted by Clarissssa 🌚 (@clarissaceline) on May 6, 2015 at 8:16am PDT
