Forever 21: 15 Things You Didn’t Know (Part 2)

We already brought you part one of our list of 15 things you probably did not know about Forever 21, and now we’re back with part two! Check out eight more fascinating facts about the popular clothing brand that you definitely (probably) did not know below. You might be surprised by what you find out!

Number Eight: It Donated an Entire Day of Sales to Charity. After the devastating earthquake and tsunami hit Japan in 2011, Forever 21 donated an entire day’s worth of online sales to the victims of the disaster.

Number Seven: Good Luck Getting Your Money Back. You might be aware of the brand’s return policy, but did you know they’ll never give you cash back? Shoppers have 21 days to return items for either an exchange or store credit.

Number Six: It’s More Organized Than You Think. Though many shoppers are overwhelmed by what appears to be a giant mess of clothes strewn all over, there’s truly a method to the madness. Different sections of the store are designed to appeal to different types of styles, so if your style is edgy, you might shop in one corner, while a preppier person might shop in another section of the store.

Number Five: There’s a Reason Everything Is So Cheap. And it’s because you get what you pay for. Sure, you can buy a pair of jeans for $15 at Forever 21, but you can expect them to be over-dyed and eventually shrink too much over time.

Number Four: The Average Store Size Is 38,000 Square Feet. It might seem big, but it’s just enough space to fit all that clothing and jewelry – not to mention the pseudo-excited fashionable employees.

Number Three: It Was Sued Over a Penny. In 2012, Carolyn Kellman, a lawyer, sued the company because she received one penny less than she should have when she returned some items. She had other customers who were given one penny less or charged a penny extra join in on the case as well.

Number Two: They Have Stores in Almost Every Continent. Except Antarctica, of course!

Number One: There Are 723 Locations. As of 2015, the company had an impressive 723 locations around the world. We hope you enjoyed our list of 15 things you didn’t know about Forever 21!
