We already brought you part one of our list of 15 things you probably didn’t know about George Clooney, and now we’re back with part two! Check out eight more fascinating facts you most likely weren’t aware of about this silver fox and global heartthrob. You might be surprised by what you learn!

Number Eight: He Was the Second Ever Man to Cover Vogue Magazine. But really, who’s surprised by that? In Vogue‘s June 2000 issue, Clooney shared a cover with model Gisele Bundchen. Richard Gere was the first man ever to cover Vogue. However, Clooney was the cover boy for the first ever issue of Men’s Vogue in 2005.

Number Seven: He Had Bell’s Palsy. In middle school, Clooney had Bell’s Palsy, which is a nerve condition that paralyzes half of the face. Thankfully, his Bell’s Palsy cleared itself up within a year.

Number Six: He Likes Tequila. Clooney is such a big fan of tequila, in fact, that he owns a tequila company! The tequila is called Casamigos tequila, and he created it with his friends Mike Meldman and Rande Gerber. The Casamigos tequila is so big that it even has a plane named after it!

Number Five: His Dad Is Famous, Too. Clooney’s dad is Nick Clooney, who was a game-show host and news anchor. He also hosted American Movie Classics!

Number Four: He Guest-Starred on The Golden Girls. You might be aware of the fact that Clooney stars in 107 episodes of E.R. as Dr. Doug Ross. However, did you know he also guest-starred on The Golden Girls? He played an undercover cop who eventually gets shot.

Number Three: He Lived in a Closet. No, not that closet. After Clooney made the big move from Kentucky to Los Angeles, he had to live in a friend’s walk-in closet before he could afford his own place.

Number Two: He Almost Died While Filming SyrianaWhen Clooney and company were filming hit film Syriana, he tore his dura mater, which is the spinal membrane. His spinal fluid actually leaked into his body and out of his nose, which made him fear he would have an aneurysm.

Number One: He Was Raised Catholic. Maybe the reason Clooney has such a good-boy persona about him is because he was raised Catholic. He attended mass and was very traditional in his religion.
