Gwyneth Paltrow Launches Her Own Publishing Line

While balancing children and a successful acting career, Gwyneth Paltrow still manages to create more business avenues for herself and her career. The Mortdecai star is also an author who has published more than three books and will be launching her own publishing line called “Goop Press.” The Associated Press is reporting that Goop Press is going to be a lifestyle line, much like her website of the same name, and will work in conjunction with Grand Central Publishing. Paltrow says that she is “excited to memorialize” Goop for readers all over the globe.

The imprint will be publishing at least one Goop-branded book every year, along with three additional books that are “sourced from Goop editors and its expert contributors.” Goop was originally launched by the actress as a newsletter in 2008 and founded in Los Angeles, where the employees work out of a barn that serves as the Goop headquarters. Gwyneth Paltrow has managed to build the e-commerce company into somewhat of an empire. She took it upon herself to put Goop.com together when she had a long list of questions – regarding health and wellness and other lifestyle related queries – that she was not getting the answers to. After collecting a wealth of information on things like where to get the best Italian food, she pulled her resources together and turned the weekly newsletter into a website.

But this venture into the publishing world is not the first for the Royal Tenenbaums star. Since 2008 the actress has co-written Spain… A Culinary Road Trip with accomplished author Mario Batali, as well as My Father’s Daughter: Delicious, Easy Recipes Celebrating Family three years later in 2011. In the same year she also released Togetherness and Notes From the Kitchen Table, and her most recent lifestyle guide It’s All Good: Delicious Easy Recipes That Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great was released in 2013. The first published work to be released from Goop Press will be one written by Gwyneth Paltrow herself, a cookbook entitled It’s All Easy. In the fall of 2016, the imprint is also scheduling the release of a book which focuses on beauty.
