A comedian from the UK, Rik Mayall, was selected to play the prankster Peeves in the first Harry Potter film. He was later cut out when the director decided he didn’t like the scenes, but thankfully he received payment for his acting.
Number Six: The Moaning Myrtle Actress Was Actually 36
She was meant to be playing a 14-year-old girl, but for some reason, they selected a 36-year-old actress for the part. Oh well, fooled me!
Number Five: Rowling Told Alan Rickman Some Secrets
She told the actor who played Snape a lot of information that the rest of us had to wait to read the book to find out. He knew that Snape had been in love with Lily and that that was why he hated James.
Number Four: Helena Bonham Carter Still Has Her Bellatrix Teeth
This is because she loves them. In an interview, the actress claims that she has them in her bathroom and brings them out every once in a while when she’s feeling nostalgic.
Number Three: Dumbledore Was Gay
In 2007, a fan asked J.K. Rowling if Dumbledore had ever been in love. She responded that she had always thought of him as gay and that he had in fact been in love with Grindelwald.
Number Two: Stephen King Approves of Umbridge
The acclaimed author is a big Harry Potter fan. He thinks that Dolores Umbridge is the best villain to come along since Hannibal Lecter.
Number One: Hermoine And Harry Were Almost a Couple
