Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has been all over the news lately. And rightfully so – the public deserve to know as much as they can about the person who could potentially be America’s first female president. Number Fifteen: She Hasn’t Driven a Car Since 1996. She has said that she remembers the last time she drives very well “…and unfortunately, so does the Secret Service, which is why I haven’t driven since then.”
Number Fourteen: She Likes Having Imaginary Conversations. Clinton was encouraged to have imaginary conversations with her idols by Jean Houston, who is a New Age spiritual counselor. Houston encouraged Clinton to have imaginary conversations with people like Eleanor Roosevelt while she was brainstorming for an upcoming book. The name for this practice is “reflective meditation.”
Number Thirteen: She Has Gutted a Fish. Clinton worked at a processing plant in Alaska one summer, and it was there that her job was to gut fish. Interestingly, she was fired from that job for asking too many questions in regards to how long the fish had been dead.
Number Twelve: She Was a Total Fangirl for Fabian. If you’re not sure who Fabian is, you’re not alone. Fabian was the 1950s and 1960s’ answer to Elvis. In fact, Clinton was the president of the Fabian club during her high school years in Illinois.
Number Eleven: She Was Against Her Daughter Piercing Her Ears. Clinton might love earrings now, but in 1992, when Chelsea was 12 and asked to get her ears pierced, Clinton was adamantly against it.
Number Ten: She Can Out-Drink John McCain. McCain and Clinton were in Estonia together in 2004, and they took shots of vodka together. Clinton out-drank McCain by drinking four shots.
Number Nine: She Puts Hot Sauce on Literally Everything. According to The Wall Street Journal, Clinton puts Tabasco sauce on just about everything. This is even including salad. Stay tuned for part two, coming soon!
