Number Eight: They Build More Than 14 Million Combustion Engines Per Year

Honda is the largest maker of combustion motors. Since way back in 1959, they have also been the biggest motorcycle manufacturer on earth.

Number Seven: The Civic Was Created as an Oil Crisis Solution

The Honda Civic made its debut in 1973 and was inspired by a need for more fuel efficiency. The car was able to achieve 40 miles to the gallon on the highway. It is now one of our world’s most fuel efficient vehicles.

Number Six: The 8th Largest Automobile Manufacturer

The market value of this company is more than that of GM and Ford combined! They are one of the biggest car producers that exist.

Number Five: The Civic Hybrid, The First Non-Plug Vehicle in its Class

The famous Honda Hybrid was launched in 2003. The batteries of these cars are built to last as long as the car itself, a unique quality and quite amazing.

Number Four: ASIMO the Android

ASIMO is a robot created by the company, an acronym that means Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility. The main purpose of this android is to help people without complete mobility and to encourage kids to be interested in math and science.

Number Three: Honda Is a Philanthropic Company

They are involved in initiatives that focus on children and education, science and technology. Their vision is to “become a company that society wants to exist”.

Number Two: ‘It Will Get You Where You’re Going’

This was the official slogan of Honda when the Civic first debuted. Their general slogan, however, is “The Power of Dreams”.

Number One: The Honda Civic Tour
