Jason Derulo: 15 Things You Didn’t Know (Part 2)

We already brought you part one of our list of 15 things you probably did not know about Jason Derulo, and now we’re back with part two! Check out eight more fascinating facts about the singer and musician that you definitely (probably) did not know below. You might be surprised by what you find out!

Number Eight: He Was on a Show With Kelly Rowland. Derulo joined the former Destiny’s Child member to be a judge on the show Everybody Dance Now in 2012.

Number Seven: He Is the Youngest of Three. If you’re one of those people who reads into whether a person is the youngest or oldest child, you’ll be interested to know that Derulo is the youngest of three siblings! He has both an older sister and an older brother.

Number Six: His First Single Sampled Another Artist. Derulo sampled Imogen Heap’s “Hide & Seek” in his debut single, “Whatcha Say.”

Number Five: He’s Not Into Exercise. Derulo might have a nice body, but it’s not because he’s a gym rat. He has said in interviews that he’s not a fan of working out; however, we’re guessing he gets a good workout at his rehearsals.

Number Four: He Recorded a Song With Jordin Sparks. And they used to date, too! Derulo and Sparks recorded songs with each other for both of their albums.

Number Three: He Eats Tuna to Stay in Shape. We already mentioned that Derulo isn’t a fan of exercise, so what’s his secret to that six-pack? Tuna! Derulo reportedly eats tuna straight from the can when he needs some last-minute definition in his abs.

Number Two: He Propositioned Stevie Wonder at the White House. It’s no secret that Derulo has done many collaborations with famous artists, but one of the most impressive has to be his collaboration with Stevie Wonder. Even crazier, Derulo asked Wonder to collaborate with him at dinner in the White House.

Number One: His Talent Was Discovered by…a Basketball Coach? It’s true! Derulo’s basketball coach noticed his skills on the court and in the recording studio when he was just 12 years old. We hope you enjoyed our list of 15 things you didn’t know about Jason Derulo!
