Number Fifteen: He Got His Start With a Disney Channel Star. McCartney began performing in local musicals in his community when he was just seven years old. When he was 10, he began touring with The King and I along with the star of Phil of the Future, Ricky Ullman.
Number Fourteen: He Is an Aries. McCartney was born on April 9, 1987, which makes his astrological sign an Aries. Aries people are usually courageous, energetic, and not afraid of confrontation.
Number Thirteen: He Was Almost Cast in She’s the Man. McCartney was nearly cast as Amanda Bynes’ twin brother for the movie She’s the Man. However, because of scheduling conflicts, he had to pass.
Number Twelve: He Was Nominated for an Emmy. McCartney was nominated not once, not twice, but three times for his performance on the hit television show All My Children. He was on the show from 1998 to 2001.
Number Eleven: He Dated a Bandmate’s Ex. McCartney started dating Katie Cassidy in 2004. The couple met two years earlier…because she was dating his bandmate!
Number Ten: Before Dream Street, there was Sugar Beats. Before McCartney belonged to Dream Street, he was in another band. The band, whose name sounds oddly similar to Dream Street, was called Sugar Beats.
Number Nine: He Auditioned for The Sixth Sense. You probably remember how iconic Haley Joel Osment’s character was in the hit film The Sixth Sense. Well, imagine Osment replaced by Jesse McCartney!
