Number Fifteen: There’s No Meaning Behind the “J.” You might think that the “J” in Jessie J has a cute story behind it, but the truth is that it doesn’t mean anything! It’s catchy, though, isn’t it?
Number Fourteen: She’s a London Girl Through and Through. Jessie was born in the borough of Redbridge, which is northeast of the center of London. Redbridge is a nice area and is most well-known for its lovely outdoor parks and highly rated schools.
Number Thirteen: She Is Open About Her Sexuality. And, like many girls in college, she went through a bisexual phase. Though she’s admitted to having been with both men and women, in 2014, she stated that her bisexuality was simply a phase.
Number Twelve: She Once Had a Panic Attack on Stage. Jessie performed at an event in 2011 that had a “Black Out” theme, which meant she would perform in the dark. However, she had a panic attack on stage when she asked the crew to turn the lights on and they wouldn’t.
Number Eleven: She’s the Youngest. Jessie is the youngest of three, and she has two older sisters. Her sisters are five and seven years older than she is, and while her sisters are more academically inclined, Jessie knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a creative life.
Number Ten: She Wrote One of Miley’s Biggest Hits. It’s true! Jessie wrote “Party in the U.S.A.” although it was made famous by Miley Cyrus.
