Number Eight: His First Paid Acting Gig Was as a Lover. You might associate Legend with all the love ballads he has penned, but did you know he has also played a lover on-screen? His first paid acting gig was alongside Kyra Sedgwick in 2005’s Loverboy.
Number Seven: He Is Uncle Johnny. Most people might know him as simply John Legend, but to Legend’s nieces and nephews (of which he has many), he is “Uncle Johnny.”
Number Six: He Married Chrissy Seven Years After He Met Her. In fact, Legend and model Chrissy Teigen got married exactly seven years after they met to the day.
Number Five: He Was President and Prom King in High School. It’s true! Legend was destined for fame from the very beginning because, in high school, he was president of his student body and voted prom king. Legend says that Chrissy laughs every time he brings it up.
Number Four: He Had a Crush on Janet Jackson. When asked who his celebrity crush was when he was a kid, Legend says that he had a major thing for Janet Jackson. he said that he also liked Ashley Banks – of Fresh Prince – as well.
Number Three: He Does Not Use His Music in the Bedroom. Though many people probably use Legend’s tunes to get in the sensual mood with their significant other, Legend refrains from doing so with Chrissy. However, he did say that “there’s nothing wrong with a little Marvin Gaye.”
