JoJo took to social media to announce that she will be releasing three new singles, also known as a tringle, on August 21. She took to Instagram to make the announcement and posted a screenshot of the definition of tringle from Urban Dictionary. The caption read “Definition of #TRINGLE 8.21.15.” Get ready to have your Friday rocked by new music from this powerhouse goddess.

It has been far too long since JoJo released new music, officially. Her last album, The High Road, was released in 2006 and was a huge success. The album peaked at number three on the US Billboard 200 and was certified Gold by the RIAA after only one month. The High Road included “Too Little Too Late,” which was an instant success. The single jumped from number 66 to number three in just one week, breaking the record for the biggest jump. I am sure many of us still scream out the lyrics today. I know I do.

Due to complications with her past label, JoJo released three mixtapes between 2010 and 2014. “Can’t Take That Away From Me,” “Agape,” and “#LoveJo” held her fans over until she announced the release of her third album.

One of the singles we expect to hear soon is an upbeat pop anthem titled, “When Love Hurts.” The “Leave (Get Out)” singer showcased the song at the iHeartMedia Music Summit, and from what I can tell from the short clip posted online, the song is fire! Speculated titles for her other two singles are “You Don’t Really Care For Me” and “I Want You To Say (Love).”

JoJo expressed her excitement over sharing her new music with fans on Instagram as well. “OMGOMGOMG–GAAAAHHH Im FULL of excitement and happiness to finally share with you and squeeze you in person…I wanna scream it from the roof tops!!!!” she wrote. She was giving her fans a chance to be the first to hear her new music by running a social media contest to see which cities she would head to. By using the “#JOJOFANSFIRSTSWEEPS”  hashtag and posting why they should be the first to hear the new songs, fans could bring JoJo to their hometown. Her first stop on the tour is Boston, where she will be on August 12.

The 24-year-old is bringing her powerful voice back to radio stations everywhere, and I couldn’t be more excited! Are you ready for a new JoJo album? Comment below.
