Justin Bieber will cover the April issue of Men’s Health magazine, which will be available on March 10th. Inside the cover, the pop singer addressed the pitfalls of growing up in the public eye. “I had to grow up so quick and it was almost like I grew up for the public, but I didn’t necessarily grow up,” Bieber said in the magazine. He continued, “There were things I had to do, as far as the way I had to make relationships and conversation, but as far as actually growing up, there were a lot of things I missed out on.” Bieber said 2015 has been a big year for him, and he’s completely different than he was a year ago. The 21 year old pop singer admitted that it was time for him to grow up.
Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, has also acknowledged the singer’s transformation. Braun stated that Bieber is finally ready to be the man people expect him to be, and his fans will be able to hear his growth through his new music. The manager, along with others close to Bieber, gave him an ultimatum in regards to his music career. Bieber vowed to make changes to his life, and make a commitment to his personal and music career. The pop singer is currently working on his album and tour, although there haven’t been any specific dates for when the new project will be released.
Bieber will be the subject on Comedy Central’s roast, which will air on March 30th. The event will be hosted by comedian Kevin Hart. The pop singer seems to be handling all of the “Bieber” jokes with a smile. In January, Saturday Night Live made fun of the singer’s controversial Calvin Klein ads. The parody was performed by actress Kate McKinnon, whose impersonation of Bieber was well-received. The comedy show sent a tweet to the pop singer a day after the episode aired, and Bieber replied that McKinnon’s performance was “well played.” The pop singer is also shirtless on the cover of Men’s Health magazine, hopefully this cover won’t spark the same “photoshop” controversy that the Calvin Klein ads did.
