Justin Timberlake Posts Photo of Baby Silas

A baby sighting has just hit the Internet! Justin Timberlake posted the first photo of his newborn baby with Jessica Biel. Baby Silas Randall Timberlake was born earlier this month, and the pop singer wasted no time posting his photo on Instagram. The photo shows his wife Jessica Biel holding Silas, who was sporting a Memphis Grizzlies onesie. Timberlake is a minority owner of the NBA team, who destroyed the Portland Trailblazers 100-86 to take Game 1 in the NBA Playoffs.

Billboard magazine interviewed a few NBA players a couple of days before the playoffs began, and the magazine asked what music gets the players best prepared for their games. The Memphis Grizzlies’ Courtney Lee stated he likes to listen to Tupac Shakur’s “When We Ride On Our Enemies” and the rapper’s “Picture Me Rollin’” song. Lee’s teammates Kosta Koufos and Tony Allen both said that Drake’s music helps them get ready for competition. Koufos and Allen chose the Toronto native’s “10 Bands,” “Headlines,” “No Tellin’,” and “Energy” as their favorite songs to blast through their headphones before the game. It seems the Grizzlies’ players chose the right music, which enabled them to get the win last night.

On the other hand, the Portland Trail Blazers’ Damien Lillard chose a less aggressive style of music. His playlist included Nas’ “Daughters” and Goapele’s “Closer.” His teammate, C.J. McCollum, chose to listen to “One Mic” by Nas and “Blessings” by Big Sean featuring Drake and Kanye West. While the Trail Blazers’ choice of music is inspirational, they may need to listen to something a little more hardcore so they can’t match the Grizzlies’ intensity. The Number 4 Trail Blazers take on the Number 5 Grizzlies on Wednesday night for Game 2.

A lot of players chose Drake as their favorite rapper to listen to before a basketball game. Although Drake is the Brand Ambassador of the NBA Toronto Raptors, the rapper’s music didn’t help the team during Game 1. The Washington Wizards beat the Raptors 93-86 this past Saturday. Since DeMar DeRozan of the Raptors likes to listen to Drake’s “Legend,” let’s hope he can help his team win tomorrow night against the Wizards for Game 2.
