Kate Upton was not very well known a few short years ago, but has managed to become one of the world’s most sought-after models. As it stands, she’s covered everything from Sports Illustrated to Vogue and has even acted in her first film role, The Other Woman.
Number Fifteen: Kate Upton is Inked
The star has two tattoos. One is a horseshoe on the wrist and the other is a cross on the inner part of her finger.
Number Fourteen: She Wasn’t Considered the Prettiest in High School
This is pretty surprising considering her status now. According to her former classmates, she wasn’t very outgoing either, and did not have a boyfriend at all throughout the entire four years of academics.
Number Thirteen: A Limited Edition Baseball Card
This was made in Upton’s honor back in 2012. Apparently the model also gave up a piece of her clothing that was then cut up and sold in some baseball card packs. That sounds a bit creepy.
Number Twelve: Going Big at a Young Age
Kate got two Sports Illustrated cover shots and one Vogue cover, which is impressive. What’s even more impressive is that she accomplished this all before she could legally buy her first beer in the states.
Number Eleven: She Got Insulted by Victoria’s Secret
The model director of Victoria’s Secret, Sophia Neophitou, said that they would never use her because her hair is too blonde and she has the type of face that anyone with enough money could go out and buy. Ouch, that’s not nice.
Number Ten: She Upset Some Catholics
She starred in scenes for a recent remake of the famous Three Stooges. Sadly, they did not get to use the scenes. They were banned because the Catholic League was too offended by the way she portrayed a nun in the shots.
Number Nine: First Fashion Shoot of the Arctic
In 2013, Kate posed for Sports Illustrated. It turns out this was the first fashion shoot ever done in Antarctica. We hope you enjoyed part one of our list of facts about Kate Upton. Check back for part two of the list, coming soon.
