A typical morning routine across the world is to sip a cup of coffee on the way to the office. But Kerry does not partake in this routine since she does not like the taste of coffee.

Once someone graduates from college, the grand majority of graduates enter the work force. Kerry took a different approach and continued studying, but more interesting things like yoga and traditional Indian theater in India right after college.

Kerry has shown off her comedic skills on SNL which is a side of her we don’t get to see too often. One more side is her ability to do impressions, she has said she has been able to do one of singer Tina Turner since she was nine.

You would think that having her grandparent’s name on Ellis Island was unique enough. For Kerry’s family it doesn’t stop there. Her cousin is former Secretary of State Colin Powell.
Number Two: She Engrosses Herself In Her Roles
Whenever she approaches a new project, Kerry likes to totally immerse herself in the role. One example of this is she went to lesbian boot camp for her role Spike Lee’s film She Hate Me (2004).
Number One: She Had A Career Path Outside Of Acting
