Number Eight: She Shuts Her Haters Down. Kesha truly embodies the spirit of a warrior, and she wrote in her memoir about the importance of shutting down haters. She wrote, “I am speaking from experience when I say just give the haters the finger and be true to yourself. You can’t be a victim. You have to be a warrior.”
Number Seven: She Has Her Own Condoms. It’s true! There are Kesha-themed Lifestyle condoms floating around out there. If you look hard enough (on eBay), you’ll probably be able to find them.
Number Six: She Once Threw Cauliflower at a Dancer. Kesha revealed in her memoir that she once threw cauliflower at her backup dancer. However, she reportedly missed the dancer.
Number Five: Iggy Pop Admires Her Voice. Iggy Pop is one of Kesha’s role models in terms of performance style, and he is reportedly a fan of her as well! He said that she “had a nice pair of pipes.”
Number Four: Her Mom Co-Wrote Her Album. Kesha’s mom is a songwriter and has worked with Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash, so it was only natural for her to work with her daughter. She is listed as a co-writer for Kesha’s album titled Warrior.
Number Three: Her Mom Helped Her Write a Song About Her Genitals. According to Kesha, she and her mom worked on a song titled “Gold Trans Am” that was inspired by her car. The song is reportedly about Kesha’s private parts.
Number Two: She Wants to Be Seen as Money. According to Kesha, she added the dollar sign to her name (written as Ke$ha) so people would associate her with money. She said that she did it as a way to announce “I am money.”
