Entrepreneur and social media sensation Kim Kardashian has made her life very, very public. However, despite her openness and presence, there are aspects of her real life that the world still doesn’t quite understand fully. With that in mind, here we present 15 things you probably didn’t know about Kim Kardashian. Check out part one below, and stay tuned for part two, coming soon!

Number Fifteen: Her Father Had Several Nicknames for Her. Her father would often call Kim “Kimbo” or “Joge.” She didn’t know it at the time, but “Joge” means “Imagine” in Armenian.

Number Fourteen: The Kardashian Fortune Came From a Slaughterhouse. Their fortune stemmed from a company called The Great Western Meat Packing Company. The annual turnover of the company was more than $100 million.

Number Thirteen: She Loved the Movie CluelessIn fact, it was her favorite movie growing up. She always tried to emulate the style of Cher Horowitz, who was played by Alicia Silverstone.

Number Twelve: She Was Married at the Age of 19. When Kim was just 19 years old, she got married to a record producer named Damon Thomas. They were in Las Vegas for Justin Timberlake’s birthday party and decided to elope. Obviously, they later divorced. In her settlement, she was awarded $56,000.

Number Eleven: Her Godfather Is O.J. Simpson. According to him, at least. Simpson says that he was present in the delivery room when Kim was born. This is further corroborated by the fact that Kim’s sister Kendall’s middle name is Nicole – after O.J.’s ex-wife Nicole Brown.

Number Ten: She Dated Michael Jackson’s Nephew. Kim dated T.J. Jackson when she was a teenager. T.J. is Michael’s nephew, and they celebrated her 14th birthday at the infamous Neverland Ranch. In 2009, she said in an interview, “[Neverland Ranch] was the most magical place on earth. When you drove up, there were baby elephants and chimpanzees in overalls, and there was all the rides…The memories I have from that place will last for the rest of my life.”

Number Nine: She Doesn’t Drink Very Often. Other than “five shots of vodka in Vegas every three years,” Kim does not partake in popular vices like alcohol and drugs. She does, however, like to put Equal in her iced tea.
