Lady Gaga: 15 Things You Didn’t Know (Part 1)

Lady Gaga is one of the most recognizable musicians and performing artists today. She has a cult following, and all of her “little monsters” praise her forward-thinking ways and behavior. Though her fame has brought her life into the public eye, there are still some things that many people don’t know about the star. Here, we present our list of 15 things you probably didn’t know about Lady Gaga. Check out part one below, and stay tuned for part two, coming soon!

Number Fifteen: Her Meat Dress Had to Be Transformed. You might be aware that Lady Gaga’s notorious meat dress is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but have you ever wondered how it’s being preserved? Well, the dress was actually made into jerky so it wouldn’t rot! It might be a little different, but that’s better than having to admire a dress made of rotting flesh.

Number Fourteen: She Was on TV Before She Was Famous. Remember those MTV shows The Hills and Boiling Points? Well, Lady Gaga was on both of them! Unfortunately, she didn’t “win” on Boiling Points (as you might have already guessed).

Number Thirteen: “Dance in the Dark” Is Actually Really Dark. In the song “Dance in the Dark,” Lady Gag references seven famous people who died tragic deaths. The seven people are Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland, Sylvia Plath, JonBenet Ramsey, Liberace, Jesus, Stanley Kubrick, and Princess Diana. di

Number Twelve: She Has an Important Connection With Her Dad. Lady Gaga’s dad bought her her first piano when she was just 13 years old. After her grandfather died, she composed the song “Edge of Glory” on that same piano while she shared a bottle of tequila with her dad.

Number Eleven: She Wanted Her Breasts to Blow Up. At the 2009 Much Music Awards, Lady Gaga was wearing a flaming bra. This you probably knew, but did you know she actually wanted her breasts to blow up? However, the fire department would not allow for that, so instead, she wore her flaming bra.

Number Ten: Bill Romance. Lady Gaga was performing “Bad Romance” in front of Bill Clinton, and rather than say “Bad Romance,” she sang “Bill Romance.”

Number Nine: She Wanted Some Weird Things in Her Perfume. Lady Gaga originally wanted to put blood and semen in her Fame perfume. However, that clearly was going to violate some FDA regulations, so instead she put traces of Belladonna, which is also known as Deadly Nightshade.
