Number Eight: She Holds Several World Records. Lady Gaga holds a world record that essentially nobody else will be able to compete with. She holds a record for organizing the largest number of Lady Gaga impersonators! She holds 11 more world records as well.
Number Seven: Her Hair Bow Was Designed to Resemble Hello Kitty. The iconic bow was originally designed for her “Poker Face” music video, but she ended up keeping it because she loved it so much.
Number Six: She Used a Gold Wheelchair. After getting hip surgery, Lady Gaga appeared in a $2,600 wheelchair made of 24-karat gold. The wheelchair had quilted leather seats and padding, not to mention a hood.
Number Five: Her Male Alter Ego Was Originally a Joke. You might be aware that Gaga’s alter ego is named Jo Calderone, but did you know that the persona began as a joke? She and a fashion photographer staged a photo shoot with her as Jo as a joke.
Number Four: The “Born This Way” Video Made History. The video is one of the most iconic videos for fashion of all time. It was directed by Nick Knight, and there are cameos by models Raquel Zimmermann and Rico “Zombie Boy” Genest. She can also be seen wearing clothes by Thierry Mugler in the video.
Number Three: She Has a Lot of Nicknames. Lady Gaga has many, many nicknames. Some of these nicknames include Gagaloo, Loopy, Mother Monster, Rabbit Teeth, The Germ, and Sister Swine.
Number Two: She’s Totally a Carrie. One of Lady Gaga’s favorite shows is Sex & The City, and her favorite character from the show is Carrie Bradshaw. Sorry, Miranda!
Number One: She Has Gone Bankrupt… Four Times. It might sound crazy, but Lady Gaga actually admitted in 2009 that she has gone bankrupt four times. However, since skyrocketing to fame, we’re guessing that isn’t an issue anymore.
